Two Champions Come Together as Jason Johnson Racing (JJR) Partners with Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. for 2012 Season

ROCKY MOUNT, Missouri (January 27, 2012) – It is with great pride and enthusiasm that Jason and Bobbi Johnson announce the formation of a new partnership between 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Series Champion Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. and the 2011 ASCS National Tour Championship Team Jason Johnson Racing (JJR). There have been many famous partnerships that have produced more signifi-cant outcomes together than they could have on their own. Beginning with the 2012 racing season, these two successful racers and cham-pions will come together as business partners to field a competitive sprint car racing team that will compete for the 2012 ASCS National Championship.

Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. will climb into a team car in 3 to 5 races throughout the season, as his schedule allows. The team will use Roush Yates Ford Engines to power and accelerate their way around racetracks all across the country. Jason Johnson’s Maxim will be carrying the familiar No. 41 while Ricky Stenhouse, Jr.’s Maxim will carry his No. 6. In addition to the team’s commitment to compete on the ASCS National tour, plans are also in place to field a car for Jason Johnson to compete in 20 to 25 World of Outlaw (WoO) events.
